I've got a bit of a love/hate relationship with Pinterest. Mostly it's all fuzzy warm feelings and gratitude for the mountains of delectable eye-candy. But I do have a couple bones to pick too. First, it can be a HUGE time suck. Invariably so at times when I really just need to get stuff done! Second, I've realized that all the pinning over there has led to fewer round ups over here. So today I'm attempting to remedy both of those problems with the inaugural (and possibly last ever) MPMK … [Read more...]

MPMK Continuing Ed Course #3 – Get Balanced
Stop me if any of this sounds like you: You have the ability to feel tired yet wired at the same time. You hit the snooze button 6 times on your alarm. You have a 'no speaking to me' rule before your morning caffeine. You are eating well, exercising, and the scale will. not. budge. 4pm strikes and you need sugar. And there is no stopping you. 10pm strikes and you feel inexplicably motivated. 2am strikes and you are wide eyed, yet exhausted. This is a list shared with me by … [Read more...]
Try It Together: Homemade Honey Hair Masks

Anna's here today with all the details on how to create some fun memories with the kids and get a healthy scalp and shiny hair, all in one fell swoop. 3 New Approaches to The Easter Egg
Happy hump day friends. Do you all have big Easter plans for this weekend? We're actually double booked - which I'm bummed about. Friends of ours are hosting a hunt in their backyard and the idea of all our littles running around together sounds so fun. But our annual tradition is to head home for an organized egg hunt with both sets of grandparents - anything else just wouldn't be Easter. Friday Share: Make a Memory Library
Happy Friday friends. Did everyone have a good Valentine's Day? Any big plans for the weekend? It's my dad's birthday today (Happy birthday Dad!) so we're loading up the kids and making the two hour drive to see my parents for the weekend. We don't do much TV at home but on the road... a total Godsend. The plan is to eat dinner, zip the kids into their footie PJs, bundle them up with blankies and lovies, put in Brave and sail smoothly down the road. Before that though, I've got lots of good … [Read more...]
