Amazon's Best Toy Deals of the Season - Most are $10 or under!

After years of watching toys sales for our famous Gift Guides, I like to think I’ve become a bit of an expert on how the sales work.

Some of the best deals come in October, so if you’re prepared and know what you want you can snatch them up early. Next, comes the 4-day sale frenzy between Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

After that, the sales can be hit and miss until right around now…

I had to put this one up top because our family loves working on a puzzle together over the winter break. This 1,000 piece Disney puzzle is made by Ravensburger, who puts out really high-quality puzzles, and is half off. Sold and sold.

 

Betty Spaghetty Deluxe Mix N Match Pack $32.99 $6.60 – 80% Off!

This is a $30 toy for 6 bucks! And it’s a fun one too! Even if you’re done with your Christmas shopping, I highly recommend buying your limit of 2 (sorry, that’s all they allow per customer) and using them for upcoming girls’ birthday parties this year.

 

 

Play-Doh Classic Fun Factory Playset $17.01 $5.48 – 68% Off

Play-doh is the best quiet time toy and this vintage set is so fun.

I swore up and down that I was done with my shopping this year but I totally just added this to my cart. It’s such a great way for my preschooler to practice letter recognition, my kindergartner to practice phonics, and my 2nd grader to practice spelling.

And you can’t beat the price for all you get! All the letter stamps plus two great play mats including the make-you-own face mat. How could I resist?

Green Toys Seacopter $19.99 $8.00

Green toys are awesome, I love that they’re BPA free and over-sized. This one is a fantastic bath toy too.

This is a great way to introduce the idea of exploration to your little one. I really like that it can be used two ways, as a microscope or a hand-held viewscope. I also love all the prepared slides you can get to go with it.

MagWorld Toys Magnetic Construction Rainbow Colors -14 Piece Set $24.99 $10.00

If you’ve read my many recommendations for my all time favorite toy, the 100 Piece Magnatiles Set, and you’re still on the fence, then this might be a good place to start.

Journey Through Time Eye Found It! Game $19.99 $7.20

This game gets great reviews and I’m always happy to add a quality game to our collection, especially at such a good price.

What I really love, though, is that it’s a collaborative game so players work together instead of against each other!

Reviewers say it’s also really educational and fun. This is also going into my cart today (again, who can resist?!)

Caterpillar Construction Big Movin’ Rumbler Dump Truck $24.99 $10.00

We’ve had this dump truck for years and it’s great- durable and easy to manipulate plus not super loud or annoying. I certainly recommend if you don’t have a good dump truck toy, a must-have for sure.

Disney Cars Flag Finish Lightning McQueen Vehicle $44.99 $13.50 – 70% off

Here’s what one reviewer wrote…

“This is a fantastic remote control car for little ones…our 2 yr old and 4 yr old both have a blast with this one and our 8 yr old even enjoys it. The controller has a switch (unobtrusively placed for grown ups to be able to discreetly change as desired) under the handle. The modes you can choose from are: Drag Race, Laps and VIctory Dance.

You need to really have a TON of space for this to run, because LIghtning goes and goes! The Remote “Control” really just does stop and go…no steering whatsoever. It also has the switch I mentioned earlier, which helps you change from mode to mode.

In the Race mode, Lightning does his classic rear end boosting thing like he’s building up speed..and then he takes off. Some people have mentioned Lightning McQueen getting stuck a lot, but that hasn’t been our experience. Instead, more often than not, Lightning kind of ricochets off of things and keeps going! The waving flag starts and stops Lightning, and the kids love that!

In Laps mode, he simply circles around and around.

In the Victory Dance mode, Lightning McQueen’s personality (as us movie fans know it) really shines! He is his funny and entertaining self and the kids can’t help but dance with him! When it comes to a remote control car, you really don’t expect it to have a “personality,” but this one really DOES!”

All three kids in my house (my 7 year old son, 5 year old girl, 18 month old son) COMPLETELY ADORE Beanie Boos. It started with my daughter getting her pink leopard (also currently on sale!) on a trip and proceeding to sleep with her every night of her life thereafter. Then my baby boy kept trying to steal the leopard so I decided to see if he’d actually sleep with one of his own (all previous attempts to get him to keep a “lovie” with him in the crib had utterly failed).

Now has to have “Woof Woof” in the crib with him every night. Not to be left out, my oldest son has been asking for his very own beanie boo for his upcoming birthday for months. I really can’t think of a better endorsement for a toy than every kid in the house wanting one. The size and price make them ideal stocking stuffers too.

 

VTech Baby Snuggle and Sleep Musical Sheep $34.99 $20.99

Here is a really helpful review of this highly rated toy…

The VTech Snuggle and Sleep Musical Sheep is a beloved toy at our house. My kids love that it can be personalized with your own name and it is very soft and cuddly.

This toy is very similar to the LeapFrog My Pal Violet and Scout. So I am going to compare and contrast, since my kids have both of these toys.

VTech Snuggle Sheep
1. Comes pre-loaded with 40 melodies and 5 lullabies
2. Can switch to a personalized mode with options of child’s name, greeting, three messages and 21 songs selected from VTech software. Can also use your own music. Be aware that unique names are not always available to download.
3. Must download software to your computer before personalizing
4. Must provide your own SD card to personalize
5. Must take out electronic module to change SD card. Electronic module is not as easy to get back in as it is to get out.
6. Sound sensor that triggers music and nature sounds when your baby cries.
7. Can choose 15, 30 or 60 minutes of play time. Automatically shuts off when time is over.

LeapFrog My Pal Violet/Scout
1. Pre-loaded with 5 songs
2. Can personalize with your child’s name and favorite food, animal and color. Additionally, you can download your choice of learning tunes and lullabies from a list of 30 songs (Internet connection required). Be aware that unique names are not always available to download.
3. Do not need to download software or have your own SD card. Toy comes with USB cable that connects to your computer.
4. Press paws to play games, learning songs, music or power on/off.
5. Various learning activities for colors, shapes, animals, numbers and counting, feelings and daily routines.
6. Will play lullabies for naptime or nighttime for 2, 5 or 10 minutes.

Depending on your needs, the VTech Snuggle Sheep is great for entertaining and playing music for naptime and nighttime. The LeapFrog My Pal is great for learning and interacting with kids. There is more personalizing options with the My Pal.

This is ideal for a stocking stuffer and comes with lots of cute accessories.

Minecraft Steve and Chestnut Horse Action Figures $17.99 $7.20 – 60% off

Another no-brainer stocking stuffer. If you’ve got a big Minecraft fan in the house, this is a great deal.

Barbie Star Light Adventure Lights & Sounds Hoverboarder $24.99 $7.50

This is a great new twist on Barbie (literally!). It’s so great that she’s doing something active and the lights and twirling action are sure to please. This is another great one for stocking up for birthday parties.

Star Wars The Black Series 6-Inch Kylo Ren Unmasked $21.99 $9.99

If your kid is more into Star Wars than Barbie, this is another great action figure for the stocking at under $10.

144pcs Pokemon Pikachu Monster Action Figures $22.00 $11.00

If you have a Pokeman fan at home, I highly recommend grabbing this extra-large set at this super low price. You can put a couple in the stocking, then gift a couple for Valentine’s Day, the Easter basket, etc. The kids will love collecting them all year and the overall cost is super low.

You can also use these if you need to set up a reward system for something like getting ready in the morning before school or staying in bed at night. If you shell out one a week this pack will last nearly a full year for three kids.
