We are officially under the two-week mark until Easter… are your baskets ready?
I take a ridiculous amount of pride in hunting down unique (but inexpensive!) finds for my three kids’ baskets. You know why? Because one year my daughter innocently said to me, “Mommy, you are so great at making Easter baskets! You find things I didn’t even know I wanted!”
That one statement made me so gloriously happy that I was immediately hooked on the high of finding the best Easter basket trinkets ever. (Also, no pressure there right?!)
Just in case you want in on the buzz, today I’m sharing some of my favorite finds…
#1 – Burlap Easter Basket on sale $7.99
I mean, could a basket get any cuter? The ears come in three lovely colors, all of which just scream to be put on Instagram.
#2 – Bag of Bunny Farts $9.99
The name says it all – guaranteed t0 be a hit for everyone and anyone, ages 2 to 92! Sadly, these are sold out right now but there’s always unicorn farts!
#3 – Vintage Kitchen Apron for Kids on sale $15.99
My daughter has really gotten into cooking with Daddy lately and when I saw this sweet vintage looking apron, I just knew she’d adore it.
It will also be great for messy playtime too!
#4 – Animal Planet Super Grow Eggs $11.99
I have my elementary-aged son in mind for these, as he’s often a lot harder to find great Easter finds for, but let’s be honest – eggs full of stuff that grows are gonna be a big hit with all my kiddos.
There are also lots more creatures to chose from!
#5 – Play Dough Eggs $7.95
I am loving all the different types of egg toys available for Easter Baskets! (See also these Melissa & Doug Slice and Sort Wooden Eggs, this Shopkins Easter Egg set, and this 4-piece percussion egg shaker set).
Just like the rest of the year, play dough is a total no-brainer. This quintessential toy is great for building strength for fine-motor skills and is also still one of the all-time best ways of keeping kids busy!
#6 – Play-Doh Shape and Learn Letters and Language on sale $18.99
And speaking of play dough- my favorite find this year!!
We got this deceptively simple play dough set for our son’s 3rd birthday recently. I am so impressed by the versatility of this inexpensive set.
It comes with playdough, all 26 letter stamps, perfectly sized for his little hands to hold, and a super-cool tool that lets kids draw in the play dough just like they’re using a marker.
There are also two double-sided play dough mats that help kids learn their letters AND work on their emotional intelligence by making faces that display different emotions.
#7 – Moluk Plui Rain Cloud Bath Tub Toy $13.99
Bath Toys are one of my favorite picks for the Easter basket for younger kids. Not only do they make bath time more enjoyable, they don’t clutter up the play room (which is a big win for me). This cute rain cloud is one I know all of my kids, from the toddler to the 2nd-grader, will enjoy.
I also let my youngest play at the sink a lot while I’m busy in the kitchen and I know this one will buy my some extra time there too.
Another perfect bath toy for the Easter basket are these adorable Soap Sox Critters.
