Is it cooling down where you live yet? Fall is definitely in the air here and with the crisp weather, comes a desire to fully immerse myself in Autumn. Despite my penchant for DIY projects, I’ve never been much of a floral arrangement kind of girl (I actually just got my first wreath last Christmas).
However, the web has been teeming with bold and beautiful autumn foliage lately. So much so that I’m inspired to try out a DIY arrangement at home. In no particluar order, here are my top six contenders:
DIY Dried Apple Wreath
This dried apple wreath has great style, managing to be both rustic and modern at the same time. Plus, I think the kids would have a blast drying the apples with me.
Autumn Floral Wreath Project
With this colorful wreath tutorial, the ladies over at A Beautiful Mess managed to elevate the standard craft-store wreath to a whole new level.
Mini Pumpkin Wreath
This mini-gourd wreath DIY is another stunning example of a non-floral arrangement.
Seasonal Shelf Display
I love how this simple shelf display by Better Homes & Gardens demonstrates that you don’t need flowers to make a lovely, living arrangement.
Pumpkin Centerpiece
Using white pumpkins instead of traditional orange is such a smart way to modernize Fall decor. This pumpkin-turned-vase is especially clever.
Upcycled Aluminum Can Wreath
You know I can’t wrap up without including some kind of crafty-cool craziness, right? This upcycled aluminum can wreath definitely fits the bill!
So how about you guys, are you “floral people”? Will you try making any of these or do you have a traditional autumn arrangement you love to put out each year?
