I promised I’d be back today with ideas for teacher Christmas gifts. For me, a handmade food-centric gift is the way to go. And this year I’m loving the idea of a “make-it-yourself kit” instead of a typical fruitcake. These cookie kits featured over at Lil Magoolie are a perfect example of what I’m talking about. Who wouldn’t love a gift like this? (Also check out this huge roundup of Gifts-In-a-Jar Recipes for lots more ideas along the same lines)
Another idea I’m loving is whipping up some of these homemade marshmallows with the kids, putting them in a pretty bag, and…
…coupling them with a jar of fancy DIY hot cocoa mix: orange cocoa & lavendar cocoa, mocha cocoa or peppermint stick cocoa.
If you know your favorite teach is a coffee lover (who amongst us isn’t?), then these DIY coffee syrups are another sweet option. They’d be a great gift on their own and even more special with some tasty espresso and a pretty mug.
Once you’ve decided what to make, use this roundup of gift wrapping fun you can do with the kids to score extra presentation points.
And for the finishing touch, check out my new pinterest page of free printables, which includes a few of my favorite printable Christmas gift tags. (As well as an amazing print-and-fold nativity scene, my favorite holiday print and more.)
