I’m over on momtastic today sharing my latest family-friendly finds from around the web. Check them out here.
And this is one of the sweetest ideas I’ve seen in a while. Danyelle at dandee recently picked her kids up from their last day of school and surprised them with a party in the park – complete with water balloons and all their friends. My favorite part is definitely the sign proclaiming “Welcome to Summer”. Be sure to visit dandee for all the details.
Also, if you’re an MPMK facebook fan or twitter follower then you already know this (feel free to scroll down now). If not, I wanted to let you know that I added two great links to the Learning Language Resource Guide. A list of 50 common nursery rhymes and a post on their importance in language acquisition.
Both posts, via Childhood 101, are super helpful when you’re trying to remember some good rhymes or finger play activities for your kiddo. Look for the new links towards the bottom of the page under the “Signing, Singing & Reading” section. And finally today – click through for a sneak peek at what we’ve been up to lately on the home front.
We’re building a sandbox! Now that the fence is done, we’re moving on to the fun stuff. We almost bought this beauty but a recent MADE post inspired us to (or rather me to ask my husband to) tackle the project DIY style. More details to come – hopefully soon!
