Happy Friday! Not sure if you’ve all heard, but we’re having quite the “snowpocalypse” here in Seattle and we’re making the most of it. C’s two super-cool aunts got him this excavator for Christmas. Along with a working shovel, it has wheels to move around – isn’t it amazing? It was intended for our sandbox but has also turned out to be quite a hit in the snow.
The weather has a lot of the city on lock-down – including preschool, toddler group, and the like. We’re enjoying it but I’m not getting much work done. Oh well, I still managed to find a few interesting posts to share today:
I know it’s redundant, but the idea of this peace basket sounds so… peaceful – for me and my kids!
Problem: I love the snow but HATE the cold – it takes my feet forever to warm back up.
Solution: DIY wool insoles.
I am thinking of starting just started a new pinterest board: Totally Doable Dream Home Ideas. Here’s my first pin.
How to date your family (yeah, you heard me).
Love the spirit of this – so sweet (and yummy too).
