Going Ons

I’m so happy to get to end this week with a few new additions to the site.  I received a thrilling email from Parents Magazine a few days ago informing me that MPMK has officially been named this year’s Reader’s Choice Best Craft for Kids Blog (see the shiny new banner at the top of my left side column).  I am so thankful for the honor and I know it wouldn’t have been possible without all your amazing support.  Thank You!

And remember last month when I said I wanted to explore a little more of the “modern parents” half of MPMK?  I’m pleased to announce that I’ve signed on as a new monthly contributor to houzz, an absolutely amazing site for home design enthusiasts.  With over 200,000 high quality images of design products and inspiration, this is a site I can seriously lose myself in for hours at a time.  Check out my inaugural idea book, “Construction Chic: 20 Fun Industrial Touches for Kids Big and Small”.  You’ll now be able to find a link to all my ideabooks at the bottom of my right side column.

Along with the post at houzz, I also have a few other postings around the web that I wanted to tell you about.  A while back I had the chance to attend a fabulous talk on what parents can do to promote strong sibling relationships.  I’m sharing what I learned over at momtastic.
