Things I Want to Teach My Children Everyday

June 20 by Steph (MPMK Founder)

I’m guest posting over at Bloom on Tuesday, writing on the topic of intentional parenting.  This is something I’ve been thinking a lot about lately and I’m excited to have the chance to put my thoughts into words.  For now, here’s a little preview… I put together this print to remind myself of the things I want to teach my children every day.  It’s available for free download here if you like.

And speaking of free printables, I’ve found a few more that might be useful for summertime.  Click through for the goods.

Left: I love the look of this print from Wonderful Joy Ahead and I think hanging it up somewhere in the house would be a great daily reminder of what summertime is really all about.

Top right: Growing up my mother harped on the hydration thing so much, there’s a running joke in my house that she can fix any problem with a bottle of water.  And while I used to roll my eyes every time she’d hand me a bottle, I now find myself offering my own kids water 20 times a day (I guess it’s true – we all eventually become our parents).  However, I could still use a reminder to get my eight glasses a day and I think this adorable printable might be just the thing.

Bottom right: This summer reading kit from Zakka Life is the perfect way to get your kids excited about weekly trips to the library.
