I’ve got some very good news to share today. I’m such a fan of Amy and her Positive Parenting Solutions system that I try to host these free training sessions about every 3 months. So about time outs – do you use them? Do they work for you? I’ll admit, we do use them in our house (mostly in moments of weakness) and – no – I’m not sold on them. In fact, I know I shouldn’t be using them. Around here time outs aren’t really used as a tool, more as a last resort. I find myself falling back on them when I’m at my wits’ end and just can’t think of anything else to do.
This, I acknowledge, is probably not a sound foundation for a parenting choice. So I’m really looking forward to the webinar as I could really use the refresher and I’ve truly enjoyed her previous webinars with us. Plus our general parenting philosophy falls very much in line with her positive parenting message. Here’s a little more straight from Amy on what you can expect to learn…
